Expedition Unknown chronicles the adventures of Josh Gates as he investigates iconic mysteries across the globe. Gates begins by interviewing key eyewitnesses and uncovering recent developments in the story, then springboards into a fully immersive exploration. 1)  The Quest for King Arthur 

Josh traverses England, Wales and Scotland, wading through history and legend to search for evidence of a real King Arthur. In Wales, Josh has a close call rappelling into the hundreds of miles of underground caves.



2)  Genghis Khans Tomb 

Josh journeys into the heart of Mongolia in search of the fabled lost tomb of Genghis Khan. After encountering harsh weather and resistance from locals, can Josh enter Mongolia's \"Forbidden Zone\" to locate the burial grounds?



3)  Blackbeards Hidden Gold 

Josh explores the ocean floor of the Cayman Islands and the coasts of North Carolina in his quest to find the lost treasure of the legendary pirate Blackbeard.

Josh pursues lost fragments of the True Cross of Jesus Christ. He visits the Holy Land to trace the whereabouts of wood from the crucifixion, until new evidence leads him to the underside of the ancient city of Istanbul.

Adventurer Josh Gates reveals the true, unfiltered story of Lewis and Clark.



14)  The Sultans Heart 

Josh travels to Turkey & Hungary on a quest to find the missing golden box containing the heart of beloved Ottoman ruler Suleiman the Magnificent. The hunt is on to locate the artifact before the 450th anniversary of his death.



15)  Africas Gold Hoard 

Josh searches for the Kruger Millions in the harsh wild of South Africa.
